Abigail- an emotionally stilted 20-something scientist- must return to her suffocating childhood home 4 months after her father’s sudden death to collect his valuable mineral collection. She arrives to discover her mother Claire (a once straight laced GP) has engaged a strange medium to conduct seances using the otherworldly refractions of light the key crystals throw. Claire is desperate to retain a link to her beloved husband. Abigail is dedicated to preserving his memory in ways that aren’t so frightening. When the crystal mysteriously goes missing, their conflicting beliefs come to an explosive head.
